Nevada specific notes

Nevada's 3-month deposit maximum is one of the highest caps in the country. AB 226 (2021) extended the pay-or-quit notice from 5 to 7 days. Las Vegas (Clark County) and Reno (Washoe County) do not have separate rent-control ordinances — Nevada preempts local rent control.
