This privacy policy describes how Plexd ("we," "us," "Plexd") handles information when you visit our website at plexd.app. Plexd is a website that provides free real-estate calculators, comparison guides, and state-by-state landlord-tenant references. We do not operate a mobile application, do not collect biometric data, and do not store personal information server-side beyond the limited categories described below.

1. What we collect

Calculator inputs

When you enter numbers into one of our calculators (e.g., property price, rent, expenses), those inputs are processed entirely in your browser. We do not transmit calculator inputs to our servers, and we do not log, store, or share them. You can use every calculator on this site without sending any data to us.

Email (waitlist)

If you submit an email address through our waitlist form, we store it to email you product updates. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing us, and we will remove your address from our list.

Analytics

We use standard web analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. This includes anonymized page-view data, referrer URL, country-level geo, device type, and browser. We do not use cookies for advertising tracking. We do not build individual user profiles or sell analytics data.

What we do NOT collect

  • Photos, video, audio, or any biometric data
  • Financial account information, credit card numbers, or banking details
  • Social Security numbers or government-issued identifiers
  • Health information
  • Location more precise than country-level (from analytics)
  • Information from minors knowingly

2. How we use it

We use the limited information we collect only for these purposes:

  • Email you when our product or major content updates launch (waitlist subscribers only)
  • Measure aggregate site usage so we know what content is useful
  • Fix technical issues and improve site performance
  • Respond to your support emails when you contact us

3. Who we share it with

We use third-party service providers to operate the site (web hosting, email delivery, analytics). Those providers receive only the data necessary to perform their function and are contractually obligated to handle it confidentially. We do not sell personal information. We do not share information with advertisers or data brokers.

We may disclose information if required by law (subpoena, court order, lawful request from government authority).

4. Your rights

You can:

  • Ask us what information we have about you (email support@plexd.app)
  • Ask us to delete your email from our waitlist
  • Ask us to correct anything we have on file
  • Withdraw consent for analytics by using a browser with tracking protection enabled

5. Security

We use industry-standard HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit. The limited information we store (email addresses) is held by reputable service providers with their own security measures. No system is perfectly secure; we work to maintain reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children

Plexd is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to waitlist subscribers via email.
